It’s Monday and Spring is (actually) HERE. We are slowly learning what sunshine is in Chicago and I love it. Spring time in Chicago is the best with colorful tulips on Michigan Avenue, strolls on the river walk, bright colors and spring dresses. I have been dying to wear my red sandals out and about and not only are they comfortable, but they come in so many different colors! The Who What Wear line at Target is coming in clutch with its shoe collection. I’m in love with my Crochet Knit Dress by Ellie Kai because it is so comfy and can be dressed up or down! It’s the perfect dress for a Sunday Stroll, day time brunch, (did someone say Easter?!), or even for a Hamptons party (thank you Al for hosting!) If you haven’t heard of Ellie Kai before, make sure to check them out! This made to order clothing line has so many different styles, patterns, and fits to choose from. Not to mention the brand prides itself in making its clothing in an ethical way, in hopes to eliminate waste. The company also donates to organizations that focuses on bettering education for women and girls. Love me some Ellie Kai.
You can never go wrong with a white dress and a pop of color for a day in the sunshine. Can’t wit for more spring fashion inspiration. Let’s just hope this sunshine in Chicago is here to stay for awhile!

There is no shame in wearing red or pink for Valentine’s Day. I loved pairing this corset style strapless dress from Anthropologie with a black leather jacket and a pointed heel to give it a little edge. After you get ready for your date, what else does a girl need other than flowers? Bill has been sweet enough to surprise me with flowers for Valentine’s Day from my favorite flower company, Flowers for Dreams. Not only are they my favorite because of their artisan appeal, but Flowers For Dreams donates 25% of their proceeds to a local Chicago charity each month. I encourage you to send a lovely bouquet from their Valentine’s Day collection to someone special – mom, grammy, best friends, or your significant other. Flowers For Dreams cares about the greater good, and their customer service is a ten. A special thank you to Flowers For Dreams for making me feel so special!
What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Let’s be twins and wear a bright color, despite it being a cold winter! A few of my favorite Valentine’s Day outfits are linked below.
XO and Happy Valentine’s Day.

I did it!! I found some color to wear and the lovely color of choice turned out to be red! There were so many sales going on before Christmas who would have thought?! Banana Republic was 40% everything in store, Express was 50% off everything in store, and sales on sales on sales galore. I picked up a gray scarf and blue sweater for the boyfriend from Banana Republic. Again, I bought it at 40% off and he loved the thickness of the scarf and the blue sweater for layering on top of a printed button down.
I found this top at one of my favorite little boutiques, the Daisy Shoppe in Brea, California. It is so tasteful and flattering with the off the shoulder cut, and you can never go wrong with lace. While I was in California, Al was soaking up the rays in Florida so more to come about her holiday outfits from the east coast!
The skirt I found for $15 at Express on sale! It had a matching white crop top too but I loved the mesh detail on the skirt alone and you can wear it for a California winter or in the summer for a fun brunch with wedges.
Some of my favorite sales at the moment include:
Of course I had to snap a cute photo of the boyfriend and I since it’s mandatory on Christmas! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are as excited as I am to ring in the new year!

Fourth of July fashion does not mean having to look like an American flag, because that is literally the last thing I would want to do. Buying something new is always fun, but what’s the point if you can only wear it once, right? Instead of picking up a “4th of July” T that you will most likely use as a rag starting the 5th, grab something you’ll wear all summer long.
