Brunch is one of my favorite meals of all time. When else can you eat breakfast foods, lunch, pastries, all topped off with a mimosa and have it be socially acceptable? Exactly. My family loves brunch at The Publican. The avocado scramble with a side of frites if my dish of choice.
My mom brought this dress home for me from J. Crew last year. Being a little curvy, I wasn’t sure that it was the right fit for my body. I put it in my closet, and did not touch it for a full year. I stumbled upon it two weeks ago and fell madly in love with the blue and white color palette and high-neckline cut. I have worn it quite a bit since, often with a leather jacket thrown on top or with a brown leather belt wrapped around my hips for a boho look. The best part? The loose fit allowed me to consume all the baked good and scrambled eggs I wanted. Now, that’s a real winner

Jenna Lyons always knows what we want before we know ourselves. This was definitely the case with J.Crew’s latest collab with Bite Beauty. The beauty collab consists of bright, creamy, matte lipsticks in an easy to use crayon form. Each company that J.Crew has chosen to collaborate with beauty wise has been green oriented, and Bite Beauty is no different. Bite Beauty is 100% natural, but still maintains a high pigment for lasting color.
The J.Crew X Bite Beauty collab will be available in stores from July 28th to October 31st. You can also find them online.

It’s not hard to update your wardrobe for Spring. A simple, light weight, oxford with jeans and boat shoes is a classic look that will never fail you, day or night. There is never an excuse for leaving your apartment in a sloppy outfit. Putting on nice shirt and jeans is just as easy as throwing on sweatpants and a t-shirt, right? It doesn’t matter if you are an office guy in business, or a fratty guy at the bar, grab a few polished oxfords to update your look. It’s time to give up the gym shirts.

According to me, spring and summer are all about bright colors, flowing sun dresses, and over sized oxfords thrown on with shorts and leather sandals. J.Crew seems to be on the same brain wave as I am, because I could live in their whole collection once the warm weather rolls around and be completely happy. One thing that I love about J.Crew, is the quality. While it might be pricey at times, I still wear the pieces that I have from them three years ago, and mix and match them with my recent purchases. These are the pieces that I’ll be working into my spring and summer wardrobe as soon as it hits 60 degrees:

Without differing too much from the spunky street style of previous fashion weeks, editors, bloggers, and celebs alike have been spotted running around in playful pull-overs, slouchy pants, and heels too high for the snow they are trudging through. Personally, I am a fan of the look and pulled some inspiration from a few of my favorite designers this season. Expect a Look For Less heading your way soon.

Winter is in full force, and lately, has not been showing any mercy. Along with the frigid conditions comes many, many layers of shirts, sweaters, and jackets. Last week, my friend and I ventured out to brunch at Fred’s at Barney’s New York.
There is nothing I hate more than dusting off my puffy, unflattering, knee length North Face, so I have avoided it like the plague. As an alternative to this, I mixed textures and bundled up. We wound up at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where I discovered their book shop. I wound up finding a hidden treasure deep within the stores book shelves: a copy of the coffee table book Harper’s Bazaar Greatest Hits. It now sits propped up on my desk and when I need a little inspiration, I flip through the pages.
