St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago is always an event: you see the river dyed green, you eat lots of corned beef and cabbage, drink green beer, and bar hop all around the city. One of my favorite things about St. Patty’s Day is the people watching! Oh are the outfits fun. I wanted to share a ‘street chic’ St. Patrick’s Day outfit I’ll be sporting on Saturday (as Patty’s day happens early this year) as I brunch with friends, see the green river, and hop around Chicago to a few bars and friend’s apartments. I love the slight poof to my top as I have been noticing that as an up and coming style. I decided to jazz up my outfit a little more with an added neck scarf. Thank you Anthropologie for the cute outfit! What greenery will you be sporting?! Below are a few of my top Chicago go-tos for Patty’s Day festivities too.
*Don’t forget to download the app Tally (a bar tab on your phone without the hassle of using a credit card at busy hot spots!) and receive 20% off your tab at participating Chicago bars on St. Patty’s Day!
All my luck,

Berry shades have seemed to really pop this season and I love that it did (see what I did there?). Even in the summer I will still get OPI’s Miami Beet color because it is a classic and always looks good in my opinion.
I found this Veiled Pom Beanie at Nordstrom (it’s 50% off now!) and I love wearing it on extra drab days. I lean towards wearing it with black but when I do, it’s the happy medium between bold and classy. Black on black attire is pretty effortless so I decided to pair it with my beanie to give it some extra flare. If you have a colored beanie you want to show off, I would recommend wearing neutral colors and only wearing one statement piece because you don’t want to over do it. I imagine my veiled beanie with a chunky gold necklace and knee highs being a little too over the top- sometimes less is more.
So what’s next on my berry list? I have one too many open shoulder sweaters but always looking to add to my collection to sport during the weekday along with a new berry lip. See below for a few items I have been keeping an eye on:
Topshop’s Cold Shoulder Sweater
SheIn’s Cable Knit Sweater
Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick
Target’s High Waisted Leggings

Sweater weather is here! (Possibly even two sweaters and fleece lined leggings if you are battling the -5 degree weather like I am.) Pair an oversized sweater or sweater dress with leather leggings, wear heeled booties if you are dressing for a fancy occasion or combat boots for a casual brunch date! I had fun going to see the musical Hamilton (the thespian at heart that I am) and found this to be the perfect in between of chic, classy, and comfortable!
One of my go-to colors I really enjoy wearing is grey. It is a year round color and can be worn during the day or night. I always love Lou and Grey (no pun intended on the name) for their cozy grey wear and they have a plethora of vibrant colors for the summer days at the beach too…oh if only. Also, you must sign up for their emails because they always have the best sales, especially at The Loft. Check out my next purchase from The Loft as I sit inside and online shop battling this cold, (and unfortunately very grey) weather. Enjoy!

When it comes to staying stylish in Chicago weather, Juan Perez (known as Gabe around campus) knows his stuff. This stylish student from Ohio is currently a sophomore at Loyola, majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. His style reflects his personality: fun, different, and comfortable. As you can see, he did an excellent job projecting his personality through his choice of attire. Great job Gabe!

Thermal, Gray Shirt
Bullhead Jeans from PacSun
Cole Haan Shoes
Brixton Burgundy Beanie from PacSun
Sunglasses Operativ (Skate Shop in Ohio)
“Nate” Watch from Fossil
