Alexander Wang’s collections have always been very sport infused, and his Spring 2015 collection demonstrates that to a T. After the Sneaker Sling bag made its debut on the runway, it was available for a measly few weeks on the A Wang site. You can still find them online for resale, but it will cost you a pretty penny. Happy hunting!

I don’t think I have worn a backpack since my first year of middle school. I’m not sure why, but my 13 year old self deemed them uncool at an early age. Instead, I chose to sport tote bag upon tote bag, sore shoulder and all.
Little did I know, a backpack doesn’t have to be unfashionable. It can add a pop to an otherwise drab outfit, and spare you the discomfort of switching your heavy bag from shoulder to shoulder. Since school starts back up in a month, (like we really need classes starting as an excuse to buy a new bag…pshhh) I’m bringing you my favorite backpacks for Fall. My personal favorite right now is by Rebecca Minkoff and comes in a variety of colors, although I settled on a medium grey with pink stitching. Check it!
1. Rebecca Minkoff BikeShare Backpack. 2. Loeffler Randall Lock Backpack. 3. Milly Avery Backpack. 4. Herschel Camo Survey Backpack. 5. Alexander Wang Prisma Skeletal Backpack. 6. Tory Burch Viva Backpack.

Chic comfort is the name of the game, and lately, I am all about it. During the week, I pack as much into every single day as possible, and the night usually ends with an event. While I love my fast paced life, I use the weekends to slow down and take a step back. This also means giving my feet a break from my beloved wedges and strappy Jimmy Choo sandals that I never seem to take off. My weekend style is casual, but never sloppy. I layer to the extreme, throw on zippered sweats, and a great pair of sneakers to run to brunch, or the farmers market, a meeting…wherever the day takes me. Wearing head to toe black is a no-brainer for me. However, Spring is just starting to peak its head around the corner, so out come the pops of color. My personal favorite right now is a bright solar blue pair by Adidas, called the Energy Boost 2.0., which you can easily pick up for yourself at Finish Line. They happen to match my favorite spring jacket, which makes it that much sweeter.

As I’ve discussed in recent posts, I love to eat. Brunch, lunch, dinner, you name it…exploring new restaurants is one of my hobbies. Sometimes, fashion and food go hand in hand. I cannot think of many things better than putting on a killer outfit and grabbing dinner with a group of my best girlfriends. One of the places I’ve been meaning to try? The Village Tap over in Roscoe Village. Their small bites are killer, with plentiful drink options to chat over. I’ll be heading there for an outdoor brunch when mother nature decides to stop being difficult. While this really cannot get any better, Spring Rewards is excited to announce its first ever countdown to and celebration for spring! If you’re as eager for spring as we are, join Spring Rewards for the inside scoop and special offers. This includes a $20 giftcard to the Village Tap.
Another reason I cannot wait for Spring? White is a hot color trend right now, and we’ve seen it prancing around the spring shoots in a monochromatic style. Try wearing white head to toe, or add pops of color to make a statement. Who else is ready for #SpringinCHi?

Without differing too much from the spunky street style of previous fashion weeks, editors, bloggers, and celebs alike have been spotted running around in playful pull-overs, slouchy pants, and heels too high for the snow they are trudging through. Personally, I am a fan of the look and pulled some inspiration from a few of my favorite designers this season. Expect a Look For Less heading your way soon.

While I may not have any clue about the Super Bowl coming up this Sunday, I do know what I’ll be wearing. We all know that I have an undying love for anything and everything Wang, so when I saw this Wang stamped jersey from LPD New York, I may have freaked out a little bit. Okay…a lot. The Seahawks and the Broncos can step aside, because Wang will always be #1.

One of my many daily activities involves stalking the Alexander Wang website for new pieces to lust after. Shockingly, Wang actually has some great sales quite often and it’s not hard to find a piece you can make a staple in your everyday wardrobe. Personally, I scooped up the scuba dress in oatmeal. Perfect for right now with tights and ankle boots, and I can easily transition it into spring with a wind-breaker and a bright pair of flats. Here are my top five picks currently marked down on the Wang site as we speak (hint, one is only $50…)
All, Wang.

As soon as I saw the Alexander Wang show a few months ago, I immediately fell in love with the mesh paneled “Parental Advisory” sweatshirt. You can imagine that upon seeing the first images of his spring campaign, I was ecstatic that they used that piece. The whole campaign was shot by Steven Klein. I love the spin on a classic place we have all been in: a public bathroom in middle school or high school. According to WWD, the ads will start to run in the Spring edition of magazines, and the billboard will go up later this month.

December 2013
It’s no secret that I have an undying love affair with anything and everything created by Alexander Wang. I swear by his white tanks and live in his wrap skirts. I would sleep in it if it wasn’t so expensive.
When I got word that Wang was collaborating with Beats by Dre, I may have freaked out a little bit. Okay okay…maybe more than that. The limited edition collaboration features speakers and headphones in black matte, with gold accents. WWD was the first to report about the collab, and Wang himself gave a quote, stating: “The limited-edition collection for Beats by Dr. Dre includes my favorite headphones and portable speaker,” said Wang. “For this collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, it felt right and a natural choice for me to give the Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pill and Urbeats earbuds a clean, minimal look with a luxe sensibility.”
Makes perfect sense to me! Wang has recently been seen hanging out with Kanye West, so he’s no stranger to the sound of music. GQ reported that The Beats Studio headphones will cost $449, the Urbeats earbuds will cost $149, and the Beats Pill speaker will cost $299.
Will you cop or drop?
