My jewelry collection is chock full of a range of pieces: long statement necklaces, colorful bangles, and a variety of rings. But, one of my accessory staples, is a thick gold chain that hangs just below my collarbone. It looks great with a black dress, or thrown on top of a t-shirt. A simple chain packs a lot of punch, with minimal effort, but will not take attention away from your killer outfit. I found a version that I love from Dope Couture, in bracelet form. You will definitely see this slung around my wrist at some point this winter.

It’s no secret that I say what I’m thinking 97.8% of the time. That’s why I fell in love with Ryan Porter as soon as I saw it on the Man Repeller’s Instagram feed a few short weeks ago and knew I had to have my own. Ryan Porter is a jewelry company that allows you to customize bracelets, rings, and necklaces with whatever you please.
If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen my Fuck Off bracelet. This might seem like a mean message to be putting out there, but to me it’s more of a “I’m doing me” statement. It’s my daily reminder to be who I am, dress how I feel, and not let the sometimes harsh criticism of others, whether it’s comments on my blog, or other bothers, get to me.
Ryan Porter has some already fun options, but I plan on ordering a few customized for myself. At a rather inexpensive price, this can be a thoughtful Holiday gift option for your BFF, or guys, for your girlfriend. RP offers many different options for beads, chains, and ropes to decorate your wrist. A few of these will be the latest addition to my arm party. What would you put on yours?

While I am usually not a fan of Tory Burch’s clothing, I was pleasantly surprised with the Holiday 2013 lookbook. As a die hard TB boot fan, I was ecstatic. The colors are surprisingly dark, and feature layers of silk and wool which is the way to my heart. The holiday season means many holiday parties, and Burch nailed it for me with her glammed up separates including jeweled sweaters and floor length black skirts. The details also grabbed my attention with lace appliques and V backs that show off unexpected skin. Blush pink tones and black satin came together for beautiful pairings and I could not be happier.
Burch’s Holiday collection can be broken down into a few different main components. While there is nothing that I do not love, I particularly liked a few of the themes. “The new black tie” is a main focus of the collection. Black tie can be very drab and generic, so I loved that Tory Burch is trying to mix it up. I think separates, when paired the right way, can be black tie appropriate. While I am not usually a fan of blush colored clothing, this collection changed my mind. In particular, the floor length pleated skirt. I think this season was a step in the right direction for Tory Burch, and was happy to not see her logo blown up on cashmere sweaters with every outfit. I guess we’ll see if she continues down this path…because I sure hope so.

When I first saw this jacket, it was a love at first site situation. Everything about this wooly biker/bomber hybrid made me giggle with excitement. I love the mixed textures of Italian wool, boucle, and leather. The high collar helps to give it a rougher edge, while the clean lines keep it polished. This is a piece that can be thrown on with jeans and a t-shirt, or over a flowing dress and heels. There are endless possibilities.

Jugrnaut is one of Chicago’s “go-to spots for fashion kids, hip-hop heads, skaters, and anybody with an interest in any type of culture.” With this being said, they are also full of Chicago pride. Today, Jugrnaut is dropping their long anticipated Chicago Marathon Long sleeve. The shirt features many of the recognizable logos only attributed to Chicago. Usually, I’m not a fan of large graphics, but this shirt won me over. Roll through Jugrnaut on S. Dearborn to pick one up for yourself.
